Do people with alopecia have eyelashes?

Do people with alopecia have eyelashes? I know that this question is going to sound very naïve, but a lot of people are asking it, in fact, a lot of people still believe that people with alopecia have no hair on their bodies!

Well, let me tell you this, a lot of people who have alopecia have eyelashes!

In fact, alopecia is a skin problem; it’s an autoimmune disease, it can happen anywhere in your skin!

For example, in my situation, I had alopecia on my beard, and soon, I found it on my scalp, yet, I still had my eyelashes and eyebrows.

So yes, some people with alopecia are going to lose their eyelashes, but trust me, these are very few instances where it’s going to happen, most often, people with alopecia are going to have eyelashes.
