Is alopecia a disease?

Is alopecia a disease? The answer is absolutely yes, however, what kind of disease is it?

This is what most people don’t understand, they don’t know that alopecia is an autoimmune disorder, meaning that the immune system is attacking healthy skin cells, even worse, it’s attacking healthy hair follicles and causing them to stop producing healthy hair strands!

And this is what causes alopecia in most people, the fact that the immune system is out of balance!

Why does this happen?

Well, there are many theories about this, but the most obvious and plausible one is the fact that we tend to consume lots of pro-inflammatory foods on a daily basis, lots of fatty food, lots of processed carbohydrates, and even worse, lots of animal products!

Well, by doing this, we are also disrupting the balance in our gut flora and expose it to lots of toxins which end up ruining our good bacteria and increasing bad ones!

Well, the right way for you to deal with this is to start consuming lots of fiber rich foods, lots of unprocessed plant-based food, and most importantly, to avoid bad habits as much as possible.

For example, when I had alopecia, I used to drink and smoke a lot, in fact, smoking was the most terrible thing for me, in fact, I used to be addicted to tobacco!

And a lot of my friends who had alopecia were going through the same things in their lives as well.

Well, I want you to live healthily; this is the right way to treat alopecia once and for all.
