Is alopecia an autoimmune disease?

Is alopecia an autoimmune disease? The answer is absolutely yes, alopecia is a terrible autoimmune disease, meaning that your immune system is attacking your hair follicles, it’s causing them to stop producing hair strands, and even worse, it’s increasing inflammations throughout your whole body, which can be extremely devastating to your long-term health!

Why does your immune system attack your healthy hair follicles?

Usually, it’s because of high levels of inflammation, in other words, when you consume lots of inflammatory foods on a daily basis, your immune system is going to be extremely disrupted, this is because a lot of immune functions are decided at our gut flora, in other words, by consuming junk food, your gut flora is going to be messed up, and so is your immune system!

This is what happened to me four years ago, I was consuming lots of junk food on a daily basis, in fact, I was indulging myself in lots of bad habits, this caused me lots of stomach issues, and even worse, I felt terrible about my skin, only to find out later on that I started developing alopecia all over my beard and on my scalp as well!

However, after stopping such bad habits, alopecia simply disappeared after only three weeks!

This is everything you need to know about this terrible autoimmune disease, whenever you stop hurting your body and eating bad food on a daily basis, you are going to recover and very soon.
